KANAB 2022 FAQ
COVID-19 Response: We will be closely following CDC guidance and government mandates in effect at the time of the conference which may include masking, proof of vaccination, and or testing. Your health and safety are our top priority while at the event.
What is the itinerary?
We will release a fully-detailed itinerary to all conference attendees one month prior to the conference. As a loose frame, the conference will start each day at 9am and end by 5pm other than the keynote presentation which is held on Saturday evening.
The conference is structured as a mix of main-stage presentations, breakouts, hands-on learning sessions as vendor time
These conferences are designed to be relaxed and built to help you make meaningful connections with others, speakers and vendors
What is the nearest airport to the event?
Las Vegas McCarran International Airport: ~3 hours/ 199 miles to Kanab
Salt Lake International Airport: ~4.5 hours/317 miles to Kanab
St. George, UT airport: ~1.5 hours/84 miles to Kanab
What hotels are available and do any provide conference attendee discounts?
We are working with various hotels in Kanab to provide conference rates. We currently have two preferred hotels with conference rates:
What if I can’t attend? How do I cancel my registration?
That would be unfortunate, but we understand things happen. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for details.
What will the weather be like in Kanab during the event?
We chose March as it is a perfect and mild time to visit the desert. As always, be prepared for anything with appropriate clothing resources.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the conference, these are non-transferable tickets.
Will you be offering excursions?
This is a relaxed environment conference focused on in-person learning and connecting. We will allow for time before and after the conference for photography.
Will you offer pre/post conference workshops?
We are working with our speakers on how they would like to offer these and will announce when they become available.
Because these will be hosted by the individual photographers and not through the conference, please visit the speaker's website to register for any pre or post conference excursions.
I would like to be a sponsor at the conference. How do I do that?
We would love to partner or work with you as a sponsor or booth vendor. Please CONTACT US for details.
Can I pay a lower price to only attend certain sessions?
Unfortunately we are not offering a la carte at this time.
I am interested in attending but not sure of my schedule. Can a ticket be held for me?
Unfortunately no. Seating is limited and will fill up quickly. This is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please join our mailing list for updates closer to the event.
I need to cancel my conference ticket.
We understand things come up, please read out cancellation policy and contact us ASAP in this event.
Can my significant other attend with me at a discounted price?
Due to needing specific counts for vendors and providers, we do not offer discounted tickets for a + 1 and they would need their own ticket.
